Connect an assistant

Tandem speaks MCP, the protocol assistants use to reach tools. Connect the address once and your assistant can see what the team is doing, answer what waits on you, put work to the CEO and talk to any agent, across every workspace you are on, as you.

https://app.numux.tech/mcp

The first time your assistant uses it, it sends you through Tandem’s sign-in, the same one as the portal, and asks you to allow the connection. From then on it acts as you: with your role on each workspace, and nowhere you are not a member. Disconnect the assistant to take that back.

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Paste the address, save, and sign in when asked. Claude then shows Tandem’s tools in every conversation where you enable the connector.

In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the address (developer mode may need to be on for custom connectors). Sign in when asked. In a conversation, enable the Tandem connector to use it.

claude mcp add --transport http tandem https://app.numux.tech/mcp

Then /mcp in a session shows Tandem and lets you sign in.

Add a server of type http with the address to the assistant’s MCP settings, for example in mcp.json:

{ "mcpServers": { "tandem": { "url": "https://app.numux.tech/mcp" } } }
  • See: your workspaces, the team and what each agent is on, the tasks, one task in full with its plan and its conversation, what the team has spent, the plan you are on.
  • Answer: what waits on you, plan cards, questions, approvals, decisions.
  • Act: put a request to the company, talk to one agent and get its answer, change a task, pause or resume an agent, set a budget, seat a new agent.
  • Set up: create a workspace and walk its setup, with links for the steps that need a browser.

The full list is in Every tool. What it never does: delete a workspace, cancel a subscription, or change your model keys; those are yours, in the portal.
