Issue trackers

If your work lives in Linear or Jira, the team takes it from there. Label an issue for Tandem and it arrives as a task handed to the CEO; what the team writes back goes on the issue.

Connect with a Linear API key from your Linear settings. Tandem checks the key with Linear before it keeps it, sealed, and delivers it to the workspace once it runs; the key is never shown again. From your assistant, connect_linear does the same. Once connected, the CEO reads your recent issues before it proposes the first week.

Tandem makes a label called tandem in your Linear if there is none. Put it on an issue and the issue arrives in the workspace within a minute, handed to the CEO. The workspace syncs both ways: the team’s progress and questions go back onto the issue as comments, and the issue’s state follows the task’s.

Connect with your Jira site’s address, your email and an API token from your Atlassian account. Tandem checks them with Jira before it keeps them, sealed, and delivers them to the workspace once it runs. Label an issue for Tandem and it arrives the same way; the workspace syncs back onto the issue.

  • Takes issues labelled for it as work.
  • Writes its progress and its questions back on the issue.
  • Closes the issue when the work is accepted.
